London, United Kingdom; July 2026: The 16th African Achievers Awards (AAA) is set to take place on Wednesday, 22 July 2026, bringing together distinguished leaders, policymakers, diplomats, entrepreneurs, investors, and changemakers from across Africa and the global community for a landmark celebration of African excellence and strategic collaboration.
This year’s programme will feature two prestigious events hosted at some of the United Kingdom’s most iconic institutions: the House of Lords, Palace of Westminster, and the Royal Society of Arts (RSA), London.

The day’s activities will commence with the African Achievers Awards Trade & Investment Roundtable, at the House of Lords, Palace of Westminster, London. Hosted by Baroness Verma, Member of the House of Lords of the United Kingdom and Chancellor of the University of Roehampton, the exclusive roundtable will convene influential government officials, business executives, investors, development partners, and industry
experts to explore practical strategies for strengthening trade, investment, innovation, and sustainable economic partnerships between Africa and the international community.

The discussions will focus on unlocking new investment opportunities, promoting intra-African
and international trade, encouraging public-private partnerships, and advancing policies that
foster inclusive economic growth across the continent.
16th African Achievers Awards Reception
Following the roundtable, the 16th African Achievers Awards Reception will take place at the Great Room of the Royal Society of Arts (RSA). The prestigious ceremony will be hosted by Lord Simon Woolley, Baron Woolley of Woodford, Member of the House of Lords of the United Kingdom and Principal of Homerton
College, University of Cambridge.
The Awards Reception will honour an exceptional class of African leaders, institutions, entrepreneurs, innovators, public servants, corporate organisations, and philanthropists whose outstanding contributions continue to drive sustainable development, innovation, economic transformation, and positive social impact across Africa and beyond.
