The 2025 MTV VMAs lit up the UBS Arena in New York on Sunday, September 7, celebrating some of the biggest names in music as they took home the iconic Moon Person trophy.
Hosted by LL Cool J, this year’s ceremony spotlighted a star-studded lineup of nominees. Leading the pack was Lady Gaga with 12 nominations, followed by Kendrick Lamar with 10. ROSÉ and Sabrina Carpenter each earned eight nods, while Ariana Grande and The Weeknd scored seven apiece. Billie Eilish received six nominations, and Charli XCX followed closely with five.
