LONDON, May 20 — Arsenal F.C. supporters filled the streets of North London on Tuesday night after the club secured its first Premier League title in 22 years, triggering jubilant celebrations around Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal were officially confirmed as league champions following a 1-1 draw between Manchester City F.C. and AFC Bournemouth, a result that mathematically secured the title for the North London side before they even took to the pitch.
Players and staff gathered at the club’s training facility outside London to watch the decisive match together. Videos shared on social media captured emotional scenes as players celebrated the club’s 14th English league title with cheers, embraces, and applause moments after the final whistle.
Across North London, thousands of supporters poured out of homes, pubs, and local venues to celebrate outside Emirates Stadium. Fireworks, flares, and chants of “Champions! Champions! Ole! Ole! Ole!” echoed late into the night as fans marked a historic achievement for the club.
Club legend Ian Wright joined supporters at the stadium celebrations and shared his excitement during media interviews.
“It’s amazing, honestly, and this club deserves it,” Wright said. “Our fans deserve it all around the world, everybody deserves this moment.”
Arsenal’s title-winning campaign saw the club lead the league for much of the season, delivering consistently dominant performances that earned widespread praise from supporters and football analysts alike.
The Gunners will conclude their Premier League season with an away fixture against Crystal Palace F.C. on Sunday before turning their attention to the UEFA Champions League Final, where they will face Paris Saint-Germain F.C. in Budapest on May 30.
