Saran Kaba Jones (Liberia/USA) is a renowned clean water advocate, social entrepreneur, and public servant who currently serves as Assistant Minister and Chief of Staff at the Liberian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She is best known as the Founder and CEO of FACE Africa, an organization dedicated to strengthening water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) infrastructure in rural communities across sub-Saharan Africa. Born in Monrovia in 1982, Jones left Liberia as a child during the civil war and later studied Government and International Relations at Harvard College. After an early career in investment project management, she transitioned in 2010 to focus full-time on FACE Africa, which has since delivered sustainable, community-led water and sanitation solutions to thousands of people. Her work has earned global recognition, including being named a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader and a TIME Magazine Next Generation Leader, and she serves on the UN Women Civil Society Advisory Group for West and Central Africa, frequently speaking on water access, gender equality, and social entrepreneurship.
