Sangu Delle is the Chief Executive Officer of CarePoint (formerly Africa Health Holdings), a tech-forward healthcare system operating across Africa with a mission to build the continent’s healthcare future, and the Founder and Chairman of Golden Palm Investments Corporation (GPI), an investment holding company focused on building world-class technology companies in Africa. Through GPI, he has backed high-growth startups including Andela, mPharma, and Flutterwave, with portfolio companies collectively raising over $1.2 billion in venture financing. He co-founded Cleanacwa, a nonprofit that operated from 2007 to 2022, delivering water and sanitation solutions to underserved communities in Ghana and impacting more than 200,000 people across 160 communities, and in 2022 launched the Sangu Delle Foundation, a grant-making organization focused on education, mental health, and job creation. Sangu serves as a Trustee of The Peddie School, a board member of Ashesi University and Ghana International School, a member of the Harvard Medical School Dean’s Global Health and Service Advisory Council, Co-Chair of the Leadership Council of Harvard’s Center for African Studies, and a member of Harvard University’s Joint Committee on Alumni Affairs and Development, as well as the Selection Committee for the Rhodes Scholarship for West Africa. He has previously served as an elected Director of the Harvard Alumni Association and on AXA’s Stakeholder Advisory Panel. Sangu holds a Bachelor of Arts with Highest Honors in African Studies and Economics from Harvard College, a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School, an MBA from Harvard Business School, a Master’s in International Human Rights Law from Oxford University, and a PhD in African Studies and Anthropology from the University of Birmingham, and is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts and Washington, D.C. He is also the author of Making Futures: Young Entrepreneurs in a Dynamic Africa, shortlisted for the Financial Times/McKinsey Bracken Bower Prize for best business book by an author under 40.
