Senator Chantal Moussokoura Fanny is widely regarded as one of Côte d’Ivoire’s reputable diplomatic and political leaders, distinguished by a career defined by public trust, institutional leadership, and sustained continental impact.
As Vice-President of the Senate of Côte d’Ivoire with responsibility for Diaspora Affairs and International Cooperation, she has played a pivotal role in strengthening state–diaspora relations and advancing Côte d’Ivoire’s international parliamentary diplomacy. Her leadership as President of the ECOWAS Female Parliamentarians Association (ECOFEPA) and Head of the Ivorian Delegation to the ECOWAS Parliament reflects the confidence placed in her by peers across West Africa to represent collective interests with integrity, competence, and balance.
A career diplomat and Ambassador, Dr. Fanny has served with distinction across national, regional, and pan-African institutions, including senior engagements within ECOWAS and the Pan-African Parliament. Her decade-long tenure as Mayor of Kaniasso is marked by grassroots governance, community development, and accountable leadership reinforcing her reputation as a leader who delivers both at policy and people levels.
